The base is almost as pretty as the face!\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe face measures approximately 13cm (5.1″) in diameter and is decorated with the \u003cem\u003eSomerset\u003c\/em\u003e pattern comprising lilac, pink, blue and beige flowers, (corn flowers?) with green leaves and stems. The base measures ~8cm (3.2″) in diameter and is white. Hold up to the window and the china is so thin you can see the decoration on the face.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eYou could use it as a sweet\/ candy dish, for trinkets and jewellery or, since it is so beautiful, just for display (accessories in the photo are not included).\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt is in very good condition with no cracks, chips or restoration, with slight loss of gilding on the edges.
