We've haven't been able to find any information on this mic but, based on the GEC catalogue number, it dates to about the 1930s\/40s.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eMade from metal, with a black hard plastic handle, this is a very robust design for a microphone intended for outside use.
