Folds into a quarter (6\") via a brass hinge and and joints to hold it together.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e It is marked:\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003ci\u003eDraper 505 Made in Holland\u003c\/i\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe 24 inch ruler is in pretty good condition with a few scuffs, scratches. Dates to the late mid- 20th century. The main problem is that it hasn't had much use, hence the brass hinge is extremely stiff and could probably benefit from some WD40 to loosen it up.
