The thermometer has a metal pointer that moves up and down a circular scale. The pointer is mounted on a coiled piece of metal called a bimetallic strip. The hotter the temperature, the more the bimetallic strip expands, and the more it pushes the pointer up the scale.\u003c\/p\u003e","brand":"Rototherm","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":42141608706305,"sku":"","price":0.0,"currency_code":"USD","in_stock":false}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0303\/5122\/8972\/products\/IMG_1359.jpg?v=1638103388","url":"https:\/\/mullardantiques.co.uk\/en-us\/products\/vintage-chrome-wood-surround-sb-rototherm-thermometer-in-the-shape-of-a-ships-wheel","provider":"Mullard Antiques and Collectibles","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
