The sign could be stripped and polished but we have left it as some customers prefer the original patina.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eUnfortunately, I'm not able to read the Chinese script, engraved and overwritten with red ink, at the top of the brass plaque or that within the right to left sliding window in the bottom left hand corner.
