This type of lamp was used extensively in factories and hospitals, and can be fitted to the wall via the black cast iron mounting bracket.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe paint has been stripped back to polished chrome in this particular example as the original paintwork was too bad to keep. There are several dents in the shade (which have proven very difficult to photograph), and the shape is also slightly distorted. \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eIt has been wired with black braided flex, and fitted with a modern UK plug to ensure that it is electrically safe and energy efficient. It has also been successfully electrically tested (PAT).\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eIt would suit all sorts of rooms in the home, in addition to the office and workshop.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eFor over 70 years, Anglepoise has created table lamps and table lights that are now British design classics.
