The change in field operates the reed switch, opening and closing the contact once per revolution, which can then be detected.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt would make a great small garden feature, even if you don’t connect it to an output device. I like to watch the vane spinning around in the wind!
