A dynamic microphone, built into the casing of the RV ribbon microphone, this is a rather nice unit.\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eA pressure gradient microphone has exposure to open air on both sides of the element and responds to \"pressure gradients\" rather than sound pressure levels like a moving coil dynamic.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThe Reslo PGD appears to be made from the best design elements from the RV ribbon mics.
