The lid doesn't pop up once the button is pressed, you have to lift it gently to ensure the contents don't spray out!\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eBoth the case and glass bottle are in very good condition with the spring latch and hinges working as intended. \u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cul\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eThe glass has a few nicks at the edges and manufacturing defects e.g. bubbles, but no breaks.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eThe rubber seal is present, although slightly degraded, in the metal lid of the inkwell. A reasonable fit to the neck of the glass but I've not checked to see whether or not it seals well enough to prevent leaks.\u003cbr\u003e\n\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eThe metal has a few surface blemishes including slight dents and surface scratches.
