The device would have been switched on and off by turning the knob at the bottom of the wand.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eWe are not sure how it was actually used but they were sold as audio aids for use in, for example, churches and cinemas or for improving Radio reception. In good condition, with a few surface scuffs and scratches commensurate with age and use. There is also a slight rattle coming from the headphone.
