This is not for immediate connection to a mains power supply. The lead will be marked with a \"Failed' PAT test label and sent without a plug top fitted.\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt is offered in 'restoration condition' as it has been in storage for many years without use and, therefore, has not been powered. Accordingly, the passive components will probably have aged with the resistors having 'gone high,' and the electrolytic capacitors probably showing leakage.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt was manufactured by Leak, UK, in 1971 (see image of the attached label on the mains lead). \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe amplifier presents with pretty good cosmetics as either an unspoilt shelf queen or as a candidate for fitment of modern\/boutique passive componentry.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt is rare to find one with such good cosmetics. Often the front panel loses it black finish, the outer casing has marred grey paint, and the rear panel is usually butchered with new holes\/connector fitment.
