Having a rectangular portrait orientation, with Cds photocells around the Canon lens, it even has a clockwork automatic film advance.

Made by Canon, Japan, it was rebadged and marketed in the USA by Bell and Howell. It comes with its black hard plastic transit case but without a manual, which is available to dowload from various internet sites. It's in very good condition and appears to be in working order, although we have not had a film through the camera.

Summary Specification:

Manufacturer: Canon but marketed by Bell and Howell

Bell and Howell Black Hard Plastic Carry Case with Black Strap

Introduced: 1969; this is a 35 model-2 with a hot shoe, different battery and longer lasting clockwork motor compared with the early 1960s first version.

It has a black name plate on the face at the top of the camera as opposed to the engraved name of the first model

Film: 35mm half-frame (takes up to 72 photos)

Film Speed: 8-1000 ASA

Shutter: 1/30-1/250s Seikosha with Flash Sync

Lens: Canon SE 28mm f/2.8

Please click on the following link for more vintage cameras and accessories

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0303/5122/8972/files/1960s_Bell_And_Howell_Dial_35_Half-Frame_Film_Camera_With_Inbuilt_Canon_Lens_1.jpg?v=1739793219
https://mullardantiques.co.uk/en-us/products/1960s-bell-and-howell-dial-35-half-frame-film-camera-with-inbuilt-canon-lens
