All the plastic is in good condition.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe radio was originally powered by a 7.5V and 90V batteries, however, these have been unavailable for quite some years.  We have powered the radio using the mains power supply (240v\/50Hz), and found the radio to be lively capturing a multitude of AM stations on both MW and LW.
