There are brown spots and foxing, mainly on the cardboard mounting board surrounding the image. The actual photograph looks fairly clean but it's difficult to be certain without removing the frame.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe photo depicts the \u003cem\u003eShort Brothers and Harland Ltd\u003c\/em\u003e SB5 adjustable wing research aircraft, which was a \u003cspan data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003eprototype of the English Electric Lightning. The Short SB5 assessed different configurations of wing sweep to determine the best for supersonic flight.
