The red cross on the white background of the shield is based on the City of Lincoln’s coat of arms.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eDating to the 1950s, this wonderful Bus Stop sign is double-sided with a spherical base where it attached to a pole.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThere are quite a few scuffs on the sign, and significant paint loss on one side, but generally it’s in pretty reasonable used condition.
