It belonged to an acquaintance of ours who was a Sergeant in the Sea Cadet Corps, Royal Dockyard Barracks, Lyness, Isle of Hoy, Orkney, during the early part of WW2 before serving in the Armed Forces.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eBetter known as Scapa Flow, it was the UK's primary Naval base during WW1 and WW2. The Naval base was closed in 1956.
