She bought one at the Trade Fair in 1937.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eDesigned by Mr Watkin, a freelance designer at Beswick, the design was registered in 1938\/39 (827924).\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe pottery lid is a beautiful design with a typical English Country feel. Incorporating a wall with flowers growing up it, topped with a lovely brown sundial. There is a tiny loss of brown paint from the sundial and some nibbles on the lid only apparent from the inside\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eThere is some very slight crazing to the glaze .\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eMeasures approximately: 13.3cm (Length) x 10.4cm (Width) x 9cm (Height)\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eStamped inside with Beswick ware.
