{"product_id":"1930s-brass-lucas-inspection-lamp-with-power-supply","title":"1930s Brass Lucas Inspection Lamp","description":"\u003ch1\u003e1930s Brass Lucas Inspection Lamp \u003c\/h1\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis lovely looking vintage lamp is a 1920s \/ 1930s Brass Lucas Inspection Lamp.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003eThis type of lamp was made by J Lucas Ltd, Birmingham, who supplied this solid brass version of the inspection lamps to the burgeoning car market for prestige cars such as Bentley, Rolls Royce, Lagonda and Daimler. \u003c\/span\u003eThe plugs were also designed to fit an aircraft's 12 volt electrical system for use by the Navigator for map reading or the Radio Operator for illuminating instruments.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eMade from black platinated brass, the lamp appears to be in working order: 12 Volt circuit tested with a bulb. In pretty good cosmetic condition with surface scuffs and pitting commensurate with age and use.
