It does have manufacturing defects including bubbles and a glazing mark which is only the visible on the rear edge. The rear has also discoloured: please see photos.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe base is marked with the Royal Doulton pre-1930s back stamp and the pattern number, H2947, (which dates to 1926).
