It dates to the days of telegraphy and early days of the telephone network.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003e\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eExtremely well made, this small meter r\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003eeads 0-50 or 0-500 Milliamperes by turning a screw which mechanically alters the scale with a resounding click.\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThe meter is in fairly good cosmetic condition with surface marks\/ lost of black coating and rust.
