The photo, No. 1388, was taken on 16th January 1917 by the famous Panora Limited (\u003cem\u003ePanoras\u003c\/em\u003e) of 60, Doughty Street. W.C, London. Panora Limited was dissolved in 1989.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThere aren't many surviving WW1 panoramic photographs. Most of the negatives have been destroyed. This one survived in such good condition as it was covered by an old panoramic school photograph. A wonderful slice of WW1 history and worthy of a museum exhibition!\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt has been permanently mounted on a piece of 3 mm thick cardboard, and cannot be removed without damaging the image. In good condition with some yellowing, fading, and staining due to its age.
