This wonderful little toy is a very nice 1950s Lesney Matchbox Models Of Yesteryear No. 1 1925 Allchin Traction Engine.

 * On the Boiler Front with Wm Allchin, Northampton

Condition: The model is unboxed but in pretty good cosmetic condition. There are minor surface blemishes / loss of paint.

• Dark Green Body with some gold trim
• Black Flywheel
• Red Wheels
• Unpainted (Grey) Diagonal Rear Wheel Treads
• Gold Coloured Boiler Door

Model: Y1-1 (first series)

Size: approximately 6.5 cm length

It was introduced in 1956 to 1965 and went through several variations to the colours and wheel treads described above. 

Please note this toy is sold as a collectible and is not suitable for very young children due to the number of small parts.
