Vintage USAF Type HS33 Headphones With HB7 Headband and ANB H1 Receivers

This is a lovely pair of Vintage USAF Type HS33 Headphones With HB7 Headband and ANB H1 Receivers, as used on a Boeing B17/B29.

A nice set of standard Type HS-33 headphones, as issued to USAF aircrew during WWII and into the post-WWII USAF period, such as Korea.

The headphones comprise the following:
* HB-7 headband,
* Two ANB-H-1 receivers (one stamped 'UTAH,' Chicago, USA, and the other CBRR)
* Connected by an integral HS-33 cord but without the PL-354 phono style plug. It has been de-soldered some time ago and fitted with a Bulgin 6mm Jack plug.

The HB-7 headband has been personalised with the inked notation, "MONTY," Monteiro, Charlie Flight. The impedance of the phones has been measured at 285 Ohms.

A wonderful addition to a radio ephemera collection, and very stylish! The headphones have a few scuffs and surface scratches/blemishes commensurate with age and use. The leather headband is worn and scuffed.

NB: The phrenologist's bust has been used for photographic purposes only and is not included in the sale.
