Vintage Small Hand Anvil Head Tool

This is a very unusual Vintage Small Hand Anvil Head Tool. It has a wood handle & anvil shaped metal head. I have absolutely no idea what it was used for! There are no maker’s marks.

Approximate Dimensions:

• Height (base of handle to tip of head): 14.7cm
• Width of Head: 5cm
• Depth of Head: 2.2 cm

In fair vintage condition, with scuffs, surface scratches, rust and stains commensurate with age and use in the workshop. I haven’t tried to clean it as I wanted to preserve the patina.
