1950s Arthur Wood Pottery Harford 9940 Hand Painted Floral Jug

This Large, Vintage, 1950s Arthur Wood Pottery Harford 9940 Hand Painted Floral Jug was manufactured in Staffordshire, England. 

Made post 1954, the ribbed body has a pale yellow/green background with beautifully hand-painted flowers in pink, purple and yellow with green leaves. 

It is in good condition, with no restoration work, cracks, or chips. There is some crazing and slight loss of some of the silver gilding around the base, neck and handle.

Maximum Approximate Dimensions: 

• Base Diameter 10 cm
• Height ~ 20.2cm (8")

A wonderful design which looks good on its own or with flowers! (NB: the flowers shown in the photograph are for illustrative purposes only and are not included in the sale).
