This lovely looking antique measure is a 1915 Cotton and Johnson Workshop Standard Wire Gauge, which allowed you to choose the correct wire for your needs. An essential requirement during WW1!
The steel Standard Wire Gauge measures from 1-26 SWG and is in lovely condition. It comes with its original leather pouch. Both have surface blemishes and scuffs commensurate with age and use.
The numerals are engraved on both sides and it measure approximately, 12.4 cm (5 inch) length, 3.7 cm in width, and 0.4 cm in thickness.
A nice item for those of us whom love vintage tech!
