1930s Turley and Williams Pewter 1/2 Gill Drinks Measure

This is a 1930s Turley and Williams Pewter 1/2 Gill Drinks Measure. It is marked on the rim with

  • a Crown and GR6
  • A pewterers maker's mark, which I can't decipher

This indicates that it was made during the reign of King George VI (the current Queen's Father)

The base is inscribed with

Turley and Williams Ltd, Birmingham.

It is in fair vintage condition with surface scratches and dents in the neck. I haven’t attempted to polish it as some people prefer to do this themselves.
