It is in reasonable, non-working, cosmetic condition with some rusting and pitting to the rear of the tin.
We have opened the snuff tin and the circuit architecture appears complete but we have no way to verify this. It appears the radio is powered by a mercury button cell to which wires have been directly soldered and then wrapped in passe-partout insulation tape. We believe that substituting the current spent cell with a modern watch battery may restore restoration. However, we cannot confirm that it is in working condition hence the price has been reduced accordingly.
Irrespective, this is an interesting piece of miniature vintage technology. A great addition to your collection and a talking point at dinner parties!
