This 1960s Gold Vertex Revue Mechanical Watch has 17 Jewels and the Vertex Revue Movement 77. It is in lovely condition, and has been cleaned and serviced in 2018. Comes with its original Red Vertex Logo watch box and has a new ‘NATO’ strap.

There are also some images provided by the horologist whom conducted the service.

The case is 9 carat gold and is inscribed:

Presented to H. Levington in appreciation of 40 years service. 15th February 1966. STC

STC stands for the company Standard, Telephones and Cables, which is the British offshoot of Western Electric. Included within its business empire the Ediswan, Mazda and Brimar thermionic valve manufacturers.
