A lovely Pair of Royal Doulton Dickens Ware Trinket Dishes. Pattern Numbers D2973 / D6327 Signed By Noke.

Both dishes are beautifully printed with street scenes including the characters from Dickens novels.

Dish Pattern number D6327, dating to the 1950s, features 'Tony Weller' from 'The Pickwick Papers.'

Dish D2973, dating to 1932, features 'Capin Cuttle' or, to give him is full title, Captain Edward (Ned) Cuttle from 'Dombey and Son.'

They are both in very good condition with vibrant colours and no chips, cracks or restoration. The set does have small manufacturing defects including bubbles, gazing marks, and pinholes. There is also very slight crazing and rim discolouration.

The base of each is marked with the Royal Doulton Dickens-ware stamp, their respective pattern numbers, the style number 7922, and the character names.

The Tony Weller dish also has the post 1930s Royal Doulton back stamp.
