Valiant Book Of Weapons and War 1976

Relive your childhood memories, or brush up on your history, with your own copy of the UK annual Valiant Book Of Weapons And War 1976.

Do you know who is the youngest holder of the V.C (Victoria Cross)? Find out the story on page 5!

Actually, since this is such an amazing achievement I will tell you… Andrew Fitzgibbon was 15 years 3 months old when awarded the V.C on 28th August 1860. He was a Hospital Apprentice with the 67th Foot (Bengal Army Medical Service)  and was awarded his V.C for bravery during the Third China War (1860) at the Taku Forts. His story is very interesting and, as you can see, it thoroughly diverted me from telling you more about this Valiant annual! Anyway…

Condition: Used: very good with no scribbles inside, other than an inscription on page 4 “To Michael From M & D Xmas 1975”.  Original price label is attached.

Edition: 1975 (first edition)

Format: Hardback

Publisher: IPC Magazines Ltd. 1975

This would make a great Christmas or Birthday present. It’s different, and definitely more interesting than socks and gloves…..
