This Vintage R701 Roberts Radio Refurbished With Orla Kiely Style Fabric is one of the last traditional British Made transistor radios by Roberts in the 1990s.
Since the old fabric had perished, the cabinet has been re-covered with an Orla Kiely style plastic fabric, which makes it great for use as an accompaniment to activities in the kitchen, craft room or garden: (just remember to bring it back indoors!). The fabric comprises petal shapes in muted shades of pink and green.

This radio has recently been fully checked, serviced, cleaned and polished. It is in very good working order and has a fantastic sound quality. The tuning dial is very clean & bright, the original knobs and push buttons are in good condition.
As this is a more than 20 years old radio it may have some very small age related defects, but in general it looks stunning and will be a great addition to any radio collection.
