There is a black rubber bung to cover the keyhole. There is a Sea Wolf decal on one side and the keel is pressed with 'Sutcliffe Made In England.' \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIn very good to excellent cosmetic condition, with a few tiny paint chips\/surface scuffs, the submarine has been tested and is working. One of the conning towers looks slightly off centre and may have had a repair at some stage. Rigging is hinged to the deck and the metal fixings are nickel plated and electro-brassed.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIn fair cosmetic condition, with paint chips\/surface scuffs and a broken mast. The sails are showing their age, and I don’t think the rigging has been ever been correctly threaded. New sails and masts can be purchased on the internet.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIn order to photograph the boat, I temporarily fixed the sails to the mast with sticky tape. This has now been removed, hence the sails\/mast\/rigging cannot be erected without some repair.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWith remedial work, this would make a fantastic addition to a model boat collection! The Naval base was closed in 1956.
