This lovely little black coated meter is a WW2 Weir Air Ministry Voltmeter 5A/1693 New In Box. Made by The Weir Electrical Instrument Co.Ltd, manufacturers of electronics and established in Bradford upon Avon, UK, in 1937. They are now part of P&B Weir Electrical Ltd.
The meter is in very good condition with some surface storage marks/dust. The brown cardboard box is complete, although the staples have rusted with age.
