Pair of Vintage Royal Worcester Egg Coddlers: King Size June Garland And Standard Size Woodland

This is a lovely example of a Pair of Vintage Royal Worcester Egg Coddlers: King Size June Garland And Standard Size Woodland. 

Although they are different patterns, the designs do complement one another very well.

• King Size June Garland: comprises pale violet and yellow flowers on the obverse with yellow and pink roses on the reverse. 
• Standard Size Woodland: comprises diffuse pink, white, and yellow flowers, with a single yellow flower on the reverse.

Two eggs can be coddled (poached) inside a King sized coddler, as opposed to one for the standard size. They can also be used as an egg cup.

Approximate King Size:

• Height Base to top of lifting ring: 10.2cm (4")
• Height Coddler Body Without Lid: 8 cm
• Approximate Maximum Diameter: 6.5 cm
• Base Diameter: 4.3 cm

Approximate Standard Size:

• Height Base to top of lifting ring: 8.5 cm 
• Height Coddler Body Without Lid: 6.5 cm
• Approximate Maximum Diameter: 5.4 cm
• Base Diameter: 3.6 cm

In good condition with no chips, cracks or restoration. The screw threads, lid  and rim are metal, which is slightly pitted: (looks worse in the photographs).

The Royal Worcester backstamp is black and imprinted over the glaze. It includes the Registered Trademark symbol on the King Size coddler.
