At the time these were a very innovative design. Perfect for serving, and keeping warm, boiled eggs as a breakfast treat or for afternoon tea.
The egg cups comprise a felt-lined chrome plated insulating casing, with a slide-on lid. Very good condition with only minor surface marks on the chrome. The Bakelite knobs are tights fitting, and the cups go together and come apart with ease. The thermal lining is clean and intact.
The box is slightly discoloured with surface scuffs and blemishes commensurate with years of storage.
