It has a white lined deck. There is a gold decal label on the deck with ‘Star Yacht Guaranteed to Sail, Birkenhead, Made in England.’ Junior model of the ‘Star’ series of toy boats. Rigging is hinged to the deck and the metal fixings are nickel plated and electro-brassed.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIn fair cosmetic condition, with paint chips\/surface scuffs and a broken mast. The sails are showing their age, and I don’t think the rigging has been ever been correctly threaded. New sails and masts can be purchased on the internet.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIn order to photograph the boat, I temporarily fixed the sails to the mast with sticky tape. This has now been removed, hence the sails\/mast\/rigging cannot be erected without some repair.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWith remedial work, this would make a fantastic addition to a model boat collection! To ensure that they didn’t break the Victorian counterfeit laws, the token had a bust of King George III on the obverse and the spade shield on the reverse.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe guineas range between 24-27mm diameter and the half guineas 20-22mm.
