Engraved Red Ink Filled Brass Chinese Dental Sign Mounted on A Hard Wooden Base
This is a very unusual, vintage, Engraved Red Ink Filled Brass Chinese Dental Sign Mounted on A Hard Wooden Base.
In good condition, with a few surface blemishes in the wood and brass, it advertises a dental practice in a mixture of Chinese and English script. The sign could be stripped and polished but we have left it as some customers prefer the original patina.
Unfortunately, I'm not able to read the Chinese script, engraved and overwritten with red ink, at the top of the brass plaque or that within the right to left sliding window in the bottom left hand corner.
The middle of the plaque is engraved and filled with black ink with the wording:

A lovely little curio for the home office, which has two brass hooks at the rear for wall mounting!
