Antique Brass and Steel Jeweller’s G Clamp Pincer Vice
This late Victorian Antique Brass and Steel Jeweller’s G Clamp Pincer Vice is a rare survivor from Birmingham’s famous jewellery quarter.
The G clamp is made from Brass and the gap extends from ~ 1cm (0.4″) to 3.8cm (1.5″). The pincer vice (vise) and shaft are made from steel: the jaws extend to ~ 0.5cm (0.2″).
There is a OO and O on the steel shaft and an obscured maker’s mark.
In very good and useable vintage condition. It would make a nice addition to a collection of vintage tools or to use in retro jewellery making/ craft work.
