Vintage Kodak Camera Pneumatic Self Timer

This Vintage Kodak Camera Pneumatic Self Timer dates to approximately 1918 or the early 1920s, and is now an antique! Photography was becoming more popular and this small pneumatic device allowed delayed action when attached to a camera shutter release.

The timer is in excellent working condition.

  • Spring powered,
  • Pneumatic delay.
  • Variable delay between ½s – 1m, set by a wheel on the base.
  • Fitting for cable release.

It is marked on the base with:-

KODAK SELF TIMER

PATENTED IN U.S.A

FEB.12.1918

EKC (this stands for Eastman Kodak Company)

The timer is in its original box, which is in reasonable condition for it’s age: the box lid flaps are missing and the box is creased and worn. In addition, it comes with the original instructions, which are creased with slight tears along some of the crease marks.

A great little collectible for the vintage camera or photographic history aficionado! Please click on the following link for more vintage photographic and imaging equipment.
