1950s Harry Mason Ltd Pewter 1/4 Gill Drinks Measure
This is a 1950s Harry Mason Ltd Pewter 1/4 Gill Drinks Measure.
It is marked on the rim with
- a Crown and G.R 6
This seems to indicate that it was made in 1951 towards the end of the reign of King George VI.
It is in good vintage condition but has surface scratches. I haven’t attempted to polish it as some people prefer to do this themselves. It would make a lovely gift to a collector or as a retirement/ thank you present.
- Measures approximately
- 6cm (2.4″) width: handle to edge of rim
- 4.2cm (1.7″) base diameter
- 5cm (2″) in height
- 1/4 Gill (UK measure)
- Harry Mason Ltd, Birmingham.
- Made in England
